Bahroz Jaafer

 

He was born in April 5th 1986, in Kurdistan Region of Iraq. he was taught the Technical Institute in Sulaymaniyah , and afterwards he got a B.A. in the Political Sciences at University of Human Development. then graduated his Master’s Degree on the field of International Relations at Near EastUniversity in North Cyprus.

Currently, he is the founder and Head of MIRS.  with a  membership of the International Federation of Journalists. Currently, he is a PhD. Student at the department of International Relations at Cyprus international University in North Cyprus.

He has been engaged in organizational and political work in the Kurdistan region for ten years, and has hundreds of articles and academic papers, with two printed books, He is the writer of “Turkey- Israeli relations during the Justice and Development Party period (2002-2015).

His areas of focus are: Energy geopolitics, Energy security, international relations, Israel-Arab issue, Cyprus issue, Turkish foreign policy, the Kurdish issue, and history of Iraq.

Bahrooz Jaafar, founder the Mediterranean Institute for Regional Studies- Mirs-, in order to establish the MIRS they visited Turkey, Cyprus, Jordan and Iraq during years of 2016 and 2017.as well as with a wider connection with scholars 

Aside from his Kurdish mother tongue, Bahroz Jaafer knows English, Arabic in both speaking and writing.

MIRS’s Team

Mediterranean Institute for Regional Studies is a non-governmental non for profit institute and is dedicated for research of and about oil, natural gas and water resources. It also engages in geopolitical, local, national, regional and international issues and also aims to translate the external world into the Middle East, Iraq and Kurdistan particularly. Our institute provides detailed research and analysis in the above mentioned topics. Our institute aims to lead and participate in public policies through scientific researches, analysis, debates and conferences. It aims to contribute to peace, prosperity, peaceful coexistence tolerance in a region riddled with war, conflict and sectarian tensions. The institute publishes articles and research in Kurdish, Arabic and English languages.
