This is an unusual phenomenon! while we are looking at Iraq on a brink of a new humanitarian, economical, ethnic disaster not to mention its already expanding social discrimination; watching the country which is the cradle of Sumerian civilization grinned between two rival powers one a super power (USA) and another regional power (Iran), and in such a critical time, the mission of its president has become commenting and replying to comments of some members within his own political party! We can notice to what how far he is involved in the privileges allocation, Conglomerates and appointing his own personals into governmental departments so as to serve his own business. In political science, this phenomenon is known as 'authority without policy' since not all the authorities have policy. In only two cases the authority would have policy, when it protects its own citizen from the surrounding threats and when it meets the interests of its citizens.

This is a very strange phenomenon! It has been four years since Basra Population (although Basra province is the only strategic sea access of Iraq and it is main source Iraq economy) protested over lack of drinking water and their very primary demand is not meet yet. In such a critical time, the president (Barham Ahmed Salih) asks his office to respond to his rivals within his own party! Consequently, it seems that the task of his office employees have become very simple; to reply to undesired comments (threats to the national security).  Irene Y. Tsai in his book titled ' The frog in the well' states that ' A Frog in a Well Knows Nothing of the Great Ocean'. Someone who becomes the president to fulfill his own interest, he would think in accordance with his own interest and then he believes that he knows everything about the Great Ocean and would not differentiate between an egg and a ball…

Leading Iraq as its president requires knowledge of the philosophy of political authority. It is not accidence for Hasan Al-alawi to say (after only 3 months from his election as the President of Republic of Iraq): Barham Salih is the worst president that ever Iraq has seen; someone who cannot protect his own dignity, how could we expect from him to protect and maintain the Iraqi dignity?! Jean Jacques Rousseau states that there is a clear difference between a situation when you govern a group of people and another one when you forcibly subject them'. So is not it subjection when you endorse presence of 11 foreign military bases in your country while it is shelling your citizens every day? Actually thinking about interests of society is the concern of the exceptional gentlemen, not those in the well who think they run the Great Ocean's affairs. This is not an insult, but it is rather a clarification of a situation such as when the Swedish government was blamed as a result of improper rescue process of its citizen when tsunami hit Thailand. This is an imagination of a situation when Israel government liberates hundreds of Palestinians in return of freedom of only one of its captured soldiers. This is not a bargaining but rather a political concern.

Turkey gradually cutoff both Tigris and Euphrates causing serious and urgent problem to Iraq by putting around 600 thousand acres of agricultural land under a threat of desertification, In such a though time, Mr. president tries to normalize the relations between Iraq and Turkey aiming in strengthening his own position and achieving his own interest and rather than interests of Iraq..

This is a weird phenomenon! When the president alleges the necessity of establishing 'Common Regional Security System', it somehow looks like the glimmering of the new deceitful liberals in this era. Thus, when such president is not able to achieve some sort of harmony and understanding among members of his own party, it is unbelievable to expect playing such role neither in Iraq nor in the region?!

Currently, the genuine mission of the president is to solve the problem of Kirkuk and end the sufferance of its population as well as multiplies his effort to compensate the relatives of Anfal victims (not to take photos with them and uses them in self-promotion). It is not a task of the president to gather some uneducated personals around him for running the social media war. It seems unbelievable to some of you if I said that Mr. president used his own influence to cut off funds from an international organizations to one of the local organization (though it is supported by his own party) because the organization does not belong to his own block within the same party.

According to the Human Rights Commission, 7663 Iraqi citizens were vanished during last two years.  As there are only 5 survivors of mass Anfal graves of Baath regime and they are struggling to get their daily living! The president must ask himself; whom and where am I presiding? The task of president is to guard the society, not to abuse his power to replying to members within his own party and not to run his personal business.

The president must be the symbol of union and mercy in the country and must have a deep vision to the future. While the Iraqi Kurdish president is causing division. The task of the president is to investigate: why will Iraq's 2020 budget suffer 70 billion deficits which certainly would further complicate the situation of Kurdistan Region in the north and Basra in the far south. It is his task to investigate why there is conspiracy over City of Daquq and Kirkuk? Why they lose 8-9 innocent civilians on a daily basis?

The president sacrificed by two Kurdish parties for the sake of his post meanwhile he uses his post for silly tasteless controversy and unimportant issues.  I suggest that the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan to work on one of its young leading members and educate him Arabic skills, since as the Kurdish proverb states; the darkness of the night can be noticed in the very early evening.
